Context
For nearly seven years (2014–2020), as an outsourced provider, we held technical leadership of almost every system we participated in inside the City of Buenos Aires’ Ministry of Modernization.
The problem
Public-sector software carries a different kind of risk: these are systems where errors have real consequences for citizens and public employees, and where traceability is not optional.
What we did
Led the technical work across a portfolio of systems, including:
- Public-employee performance evaluation (in production at evaluaciongcaba.buenosaires.gob.ar).
- Traceability of subsidized medication dispensed through pharmacies.
- Civic participation platforms.
Across the engagement, that meant 12 systems over 5 different technology stacks, with the long-term consistency and documentation that public infrastructure demands.
Result
A body of work proving that we can take technical ownership of critical systems — where traceability and reliability matter more than moving fast — and sustain them for years.
