Why we exist
Most of the companies that come to us aren't starting from scratch. They grew — added customers, features, and complexity — and at some point the software stopped keeping up. The previous developer left. The code belongs to a vendor. Every release is a gamble. The roadmap is blocked on things nobody fully understands anymore.
That's the work we do best: walking into a system that's already running (or half-running), figuring out what's actually going on, and making it stable, owned, and ready to grow. Sometimes that's a two-week audit. Sometimes it's a full rescue. Sometimes it's stepping in as a fractional CTO until the team can carry it.
We don't chase hype. We work in plain language, keep scope changes in writing, and make sure that when we're done, you own everything — the code, the infrastructure, the accounts, the documentation.

Juan Manuel has spent over fifteen years building and leading software. For nearly seven of them, he was the technical lead for systems inside the City of Buenos Aires' Ministry of Modernization — public infrastructure where traceability and reliability were not negotiable.
Since then, he's rescued inherited platforms, built multi-tenant data systems in production, and set up testing and release processes from zero for teams that were shipping on faith. He founded CALCIO to do that work for more companies.
